Goal by Robert Rigby

Goal by Robert Rigby

There was a boy called Santiago Munez and him and his family were poor. He played for a football team in America. Santiago got scouted by a scout from Newcastle United.
Santiago went to Newcastle for a trial for the reserve team but he got bullied by the players that he was playing with. The scout let Santiago stay at his house. The manager of Newcastle United said that he will take Santiago Munez on for a month.
A few hours later Santiago had a phone call saying that his father had died from a heart attack.
Near the end of the football season, Santiago played against Liverpool and Newcastle won 3-2. Santiago Munez scored the final goal.
I give this story 8 out of 10 as I do like the book.

The Toilet Of Doom by Michael Lawrence

A Jolly Good Read

This book is about three children who go on a computer game called ‘The Toilet of Life’. They find it difficult because they switch bodies. Jiggy, Pete, and Angie take the chance to swap their lives with each other. Things begin to go completely wrong and spiral out of control.

Although it is a fairly long book we both enjoyed the story.
